EXIMBANKA SR has been mandated by the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic to take over the function of so-called Private Sector Liaison Officer (PSLO) in the Slovak Republic.

Who is PSLO „Private Sector Liason Officer” and what is his role?

The main role of PSLO is to build and develop contacts between the private sector and international financial institutions, to seek business and investment opportunities for Slovak companies in developing countries, to advise on how to better engage companies on the development cooperation agenda and to share expertise and know how.

How can PSLO help you when entering new markets of developing countries?

through consulting PSLO helps to find opportunities for Slovak consulting firms as well as supply and investment companies
by arranging direct contact with relevant representatives of development finance institutions (World Bank, IBRD, EIB, etc.), PSLO helps to find the right connection for your export transaction

EXIMBANKA SR as PSLO belongs to the official group of more than 160 PSLOs operating in the world, organized under the World Bank. The PSLO network has been operating for over 20 years and brings together organizations from 98 countries around the world.

Within this group, members can share their experiences and best practices. PSLO also annually organizes trade missions for entrepreneurs focusing on selected sector or region and seminars on new opportunities for involvement in development projects, in which experts from international financial institutions also participate.
